Android / desktop: Bluetooth

Use Chrome or Edge with Bluetooth support. The QR handles the initial setup secret automatically.

iPhone / Wi-Fi alternative

1. Join the new controller’s RitikDoor-… Wi-Fi network. On first setup there is no hotspot password. Stay connected if your phone says “No internet”.
2. Open http://192.168.4.1 in Safari. Enter your home Wi-Fi name and password.
3. Reconnect your phone to the internet, then scan your setup card again or return to this page.

The initial open hotspot and local HTTP form do not encrypt Wi-Fi credentials over the air. For encrypted provisioning, use Bluetooth through this HTTPS page. The hotspot closes after successful setup or 10 minutes.

After setup, changing Wi-Fi requires holding BOOT for 5 seconds on the running board. It preserves your account and users.
